CPR & AED Certification
The Heartsaver CPR AED course trains participants to give CPR, and use an automated external defibrillator (AED) in a safe, timely and effective manner.
This is a 2-year certification. Cost of course is in addition to the standard Varsity University registration fee and must be registered for separately.

NCA and World Championship titles to Houston in 2005 and 2009. In total, ASR has won 47 NCA titles and 9 Summit Championship titles.


Currently, Dr. Ott serves as the neuropsychological consultant for most Houston professional sports teams including the Texans, Dash, Dynamo, Rockets, and Sabercats, as well as teams from numerous universities and school districts throughout Texas. In addition to assessments of athletes actively engaged in sports, her practice also includes neuropsychological evaluations of former collegiate and professional athletes and patients with non-sports-related mTBI.
Dr. Ott serves on the medical advisory committee for USA Cheer. She is also a founding member and fellow of the Sports Neuropsychological Society. Dr. Ott has received grant funding from the NIH and the Moody Endowment to study concussive injury in adolescent athletes and has co-authored publications on sports related concussion.

Karen is involved with the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association (SEATA) and the National Athletic Trainers’ Association(NATA). In 2016, she was inducted into the Louisiana Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame. She was awarded the Athletic Trainer Service Award in 2016 and the Most Distinguished Athletic Trainer Award in 2020, both from the National Athletic Trainers’ Association. In 2018, she received the Chuck Kimmel Award of Merit from SEATA. In 2023, she was inducted into the Southeast Athletic Trainers’ Association Hall of Fame. She currently serves on the USA Cheer Medical Advisory Committee specializing in injury and illness prevention for cheerleading and dancers. In November of 2013, she was appointed the Director of Safety for USA Cheer.



Before his journey in technology and business, Chris was an elite athlete, training at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs and Chris represented USA Tumbling and Trampoline Olympic Exhibition Team in Atlanta in 1996. During his career, Chris won multiple USA Tumbling and Trampoline National Titles, including the gold medal at the USA Tumbling Jr. Elite National Champion in 1992 in Dallas, Texas. In addition, Chris brought honor to the USA by winning a silver medal at the Nissen Cup in Switzerland as a member of the World Championship Team in New Zealand.
After a successful competitive career, he served as the USA Gymnastics Tumbling & Trampoline State Director in 2000, bringing his extensive knowledge and passion to administration roles. From his distinguished sports career to his successful entrepreneurial venture, Chris McNabb is a figure who embodies dedication, excellence, and the spirit of innovation.
